River hall | Paws in the Park
I was absolutely thrilled to be invited to do my very first Pop Up + Booth at River Hall for their Paws in the Park day. I was told I could do whatever I wanted with my booth. I decided I wanted to create memories for the people who were in attendance that day by asking them if they would like a free dog portrait. I was inspired by our own day out at River Hall with our senior dog Mabel. I took a lot of photographs of Mabel hanging out with us that day and it is something I really want to remember. I was incredibly excited about all of the cute dogs that day!! Not a single person said no to me when I asked if they would like me to take their dog's photo which blew me away. I was so moved by how very kind everyone was that I got to talk to that day. I left feeling giddy. Calgary really showed up with kindness and it was a day that made me love my hometown city.
